Dear prospective student,

Thank you for your interest in studying at Wedel University of Applied Sciences. We are looking forward to your application and your studies with us.

In order to be able to study at our university, two criteria must be fulfilled:
1. you need a confirmation of a study place from us
2. you must matriculate (register) for your studies.

If you do not have a German university entrance qualification, please register in advance at the Service Centre for International Student Applications uni-assist so that your certificates can be translated and converted to our grading scale. With the documents from uni-assist, you can then apply directly to us.

Promise of a study place - conclusion of a study contract

By sending your online application, you are applying for a study place at Wedel UAS. On the basis of your application documents, we will check whether you meet the criteria of our admission regulations and whether we can grant you a place. As a rule, you need a sufficiently good university entrance qualification for a Bachelor's programme and a sufficiently good Bachelor's degree for a Master's programme. The FH Wedel is not obliged to offer you a place.

With our confirmation of a place, we conclude a contract under private law which binds you and us to the rights and obligations defined in the contract conditions (you will find these at the end of the application process). You will incur costs for processing and tuition fees from the time you are confirmed a place on the course. You can withdraw from the contract within two weeks by revoking it or terminate the contract after a minimum term of six months.

Matriculation - Admission to Studies

After you have been accepted, you must prove to us that you have transferred the student union fee to the student union Schleswig-Holstein. You will then receive an access code from us in good time before the start of the semester, which you can use to enrol online.

Our confirmation is based on the information you have provided. If this information is incorrect or incomplete and an obstacle to enrollment arises retroactively, the degree programme cannot be started in accordance with the provisions of the State University Act despite the conclusion of the contract, which is subject to a fee.

You can use this portal to apply for a Bachelor's or Master's place at Wedel University of Applied Sciences.

Please note that the consent of a parent or guardian is required for minors. The necessary document can be uploaded in the application process. Consent is mandatory if you are a minor at the time of application!
